All cast iron. Round disk feet have floral borders. Arched back has 15 top holes to display early umbrellas/parasols. "M. (Moses) J. Ades & Co. Baltimore" (MD). Below "The Winner Umbrella". He and his heirs were makers of these products and I assume gave these to retailers to display their wares. Never seen another. 4 1/2" H. x 16 1/2" L. NO pit. (Cat. #17501)
Bronze; dated 1866 & given to rescuers of steam ship San Francisco "Wrecked Dec. 1853...By Joint Res. Of Congress..." Obv.: Seated Liberty, an eagle, sailor, capitol bldg., a ship. Rev.: Man holding woman in distress at sea. Almost Uncirculated. Slightest wear. 3 1/4" dia. Design by Paquet, a U.S. coin engraver. A U.S. Mint reissue produced in mid 1900's. (Cat. #17487)

Qt. cyl. bottle. A gold bordered complete label under glass. Slightly faded "Allens Red Tame Cherry 'Cherry Allen'". Bottle above top of label GONE. Expertly ground down & smoothed. Also, FIVE marked 8 oz. glasses, etched with brand and virtually perfect. A non carbonated soft drink made of cherries and cherry leaves; mfgd. in Fostoria, OH. Had this set put away for years. A small hole in his hand once held a wire "rope" that hung over a separate metal cow's neck (cast iron cow not included). Both animals were part of the butcher's rack. 13" x 10 1/2".
