1883 rowing medal

Artistic 1883 Rowing Medal - One of the most beautiful in this collection.
Pin bar has applied "MVARA". T pin & pigtail catch. Linked to middle section which has 3 layers: 2 oars, a metal "banner" engraved "Senior Four" & a wreath. Silver rope holds bottom medal. A full relief woman holds a leaf & wreath. The diamond shaped backing has 6 cattails, a rope border & "1883". Metal starting to tone. 2 1/8" x 3 3/4".
